pricing plane tickets....
ok, so the mm is in potential travel mode......for the record, a nonstop flight from newark t lexington the week before christmas is $397.......not bad for a 2-hour flight that has no connections......and a onestop flight from lexington to paris on spring break is $738.......i figure i can manage 4 days as a touriste with a 14-year-old.......especially with weather that should allow for cafe sitting........

As someone else who (perhaps obsessively) checks fares online, I highly recommend http://www.farecompare.com.
Mostly what I like is the feature that shows the low fares all over the world, so I can pretend I am the sort of person who could pick up and go to Tokyo tomorrow.
ok, so i especially enjoy the destination maps.....and i live in hope that one day i will be the kind of person who can drop everything and fly to glasgow to take advantage of the low planefare.....thanks!
