plane tickets

ok, so i bought a plane ticket today......for a diabetes related seminar in st louis.......a southwest flight from louisville that shaves several hours off of a drive and was cheaper than the drive....go figure.....the event is not until august...but when one has to pay up front for reimbursement later....one naturally goes for the lowest price possible......i will admit to an obsession with plane ticket pricing......figuring out when one must leave and return to get the best deal.....which is not necessarily the most convenient...i am a big fan of 1 stop or less.....these days i am fantasizing about a trip to vienna then venice then home.......maybe a second honeymoon......and only because we talked about going to vienna on our honeymoon, but innsbruck was cold, and st tropez sounded so warm (it was not)....and we headed south......i figure that venice is close enough to vienna to make it an ideal dual destination........at some point....maybe the year after next?......but then florence is so close to venice...and i cannot imagine NOT seeing florence...this from the person who has seen mona/nike/venus nearly a dozen times.......i should have been figuring out how to include italy on any and all of these trips.......the good news is that with goodwill shopping and moonlighting as a college professor my bank account has grown to the point that i can realistically envision this trip.....life is good......
