breakfast

ok, so i am going to come clean about breakfast this morning...................we, at trc, are not morning people and have said more than once that actually being open for breakfast will be over our dead bodies......HOWEVER, one of our best corporate clients schedules meeting with it's third shift folks at 6:00 am, which means breakfast must be catered in by somebody.........so, this morning i rolled out of bed at 4:30 am, and decided on the spur of the moment to just throw on a fleece pullover atop my flannel p.j.s.....and head on into town........flannel pajama bottoms are the college-prep look of choice, aren't they?................and i would be back home and in bed by 5:45 am................anyway, i whipped up scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, hash browns....and sausage gravy (which i find personally disgusting................) and then waited for my partner to come and make the delivery...............this has always been our arrangement...................at some point it occured to me that we had not exactly spoken of this plan yesterday................and it also occurred to me that if he failed to show up (a possibility given that wednesday is martini night and the crowd stays late.....) that i would have to make the delivery to this factory in my pajamas.................... luckily, he showed up just in time.....................
