ok, so i read with amusement the piece in the lexington herald leader about sd-o coming to centre's commencement.....the piece was actually off the ap wire.......which means it ran nationally, and not just instate.........centre's president was quoted as saying that the supreme was coming at the personal request of a local retired judge and some fortune 500 ceo and that a centre trustee would fly her down to danville in his private plane.......the retired judge in question eats at trc at least 3 days a week.......he hates cucumbers......so our running joke is that i will garnish his plate with cucumbers just to be naughty......as i understand it, he went to law school with ms day-o'conner.........she may not use a hyphen, but i have added it because it seems to look good to me......when the judge's wife died, we catered her funeral, and were disapointed that this family friend didn't show up.......ah well.....too bad i don't know anybody graduating from centre this year........
