more separation of church and state....

ok, so dubya is in rome, playing up to the pope of all people.....this from the man who lied to the american public about wmd's, who sits in an office he did not win by popular vote, whose office committed treason by outing an undercover operative.......and from a man who continues to send American soldiers to their death while he himself at best played at flying planes a few weekends a year in the national guard.......and for him to meet with the head honcho of a church that has publically threatened to excommunicate members who vote for candidates that are prochoice.......if bush were a man truly tied to the ten commandments.....i'd say he has broken more than he has kept.......maybe after the photo op he threw himself at the pontiff's feet and begged to buy absolution............and now for the good news......with bush having visited the pope, republicans cannot throw kerry's catholicism up to him like they did to jfk in the 60's with hints that the pontiff will rule america if voters elect this man.......bush has already thwarted that notion by simply visiting and cozying up first......
