ok, so i have gotten up at 5:30 the last 2 days to go into work to get a catered breakfast together.....i am back home by 7:00.......today i took advantage of the early hour by taking a walk around the circle as an act of piety prior to the newspaper and a cup of cafe creme........curious, the things one notices when sleep deprived........

-the blue rental house appears to be empty
-the neighbors who are expecting their second baby appear to have traded in their monster truck for an suv
-there was a pile of green rubber bands at the circle's stop sign.......maybe tossed from the window of the
paper person?
-the next door neighbor has at least 24 tomato plants in wire cages in his front yard (circle people have no
back yards...the lake IS the back yard...) none of the tomatoes are yet red.....
-the new neighbors get up early to sit on their front porch and smoke, along with a cold canned beverage......
the pop of a top is unmistakable.....
-there are numerous weeds between the bushes in front of MY fence.........maybe i should go right on out
there and take care of them......
-i really like the smell of my boxwoods and rose bushes on misty mornings.....the eglantine rose bush smells
like green apples......marvelous
