ok, so this morning i forgot all about my vacation rant and rave........i suppose i ranted and raved so much whilst actually driving that it was almost.......out of my system.....at the mammoth caves exit....in cave city, ky........amongst the deserted 'attractions' was a christian theme park.......golgotha fun park, to be exact......up on the hill.......all i saw driving toward the national park was the sign........golgotha fun park.........so i had a 12 mile window of opportuity to rant about how there was nothing fun about golgotha (the sign of the scull where jesus was crucified....) and what would possess people to think that anybody driving another 12 miles to or from mammoth caves would stop and spend money at this 'attraction' .........on the way back, we noticed right away that the gates were padlocked........which meant that we were right, no one wanted to bring their children to a theme park centered around the death of christ........and so it folded.........from the brief glance we got, a few painted statues of madonna and of christ were visible...the concrete kind that are sold at such places that sell concrete planters..........my gut instinct is that the church family of whoever developed this crazy thing did not even bother to come...................
