family ties

ok, so today my friend gail and i were talking about the perfect family...what it means, to whom it applies.....gail contends that not only do i have the perfect family ,but that we remind her of the sitcom family ties......elyse and steve keaton...northern liberal idealogues................i don't know about the conservative son who wears a suit.....nobody like that here.......................
