moving on......

ok, so i am trying to move on from the madness/mourning..........i have moved on to a new book on cd.......q is for quarry....by sue grafton....of the alphabetized mysteries.....i thought i was up to date, but it seems i missed both this book and the next one....r is for ricochet.......i guess i was too busy in the years 2002 and 2003 to keep up with her series..........and she has only 8 more letters to go before she can either retire from mysteries, or start another series with an original theme.......tomorrow i travel to trimble county for the cross country regional meet......it is 2 hours away so parents are car-pooling......i will miss going to meets....the last one is next saturday...at the horse park...the state meet.....and then he/we will move on to other saturday amusements......i have yet another bonus day off coming up.....veteran's day......the garage is still tidy, and the laundry room is still organized......what ever will i do with a midweek day off? my workmates have mostly putin for vacation time on friday to give themselves 4 days off in a row.....i am saving my precious vacation hours for future use......now that the baseball season/series is over i have barely looked at television......our lack of cable will probably go back to being a non-issue until tour-de-france time in july......and the height of baseball season........it looks like boston's team could be moving on...at least the free-agents on that team....lots of rumors on who could be going where......sad that they were such a working unit/family during the long series, only to be sold off/traded off/bought off as soon as the series is over.....but moving on is what life is all about...nothing stays the same.....ah well.........back to work....as my lunch time is over and i like this job too much to be asked to move on...for spending too much time on-line on work time....ooops.........
