the new yorker

ok, so whilst i was grilling out flank steak..........i was catching up on the magazines that arrived while we were gone....including the new yorker magazine......how is it that i can so thoroughly enjoy a publication without equally enjoying the actual reference city......or their baseball team......hmmmm.......i habitually sift through the cartoons first...then prioritize the articles i want to read.....and then.....do my best to read every word of interest before the next issue comes.....i have already read the article about the restoration and photographic preservation project of the unicorn tapestries that are housed in the cloisters......the cloisters was on my short list for my single day in nyc.....but the plan was much too ambitious for ordinary humans....it will keep for another day.......but i digress.........i like reading about nyc, but visiting this city makes me a nervous wreck......ironically, a full year of the new yorker costs less than 2 adult admissions to moma...if you play your cards right.........ah well....time to eat.............last but not least, a cryptic message to someone whose blog i nearly left comments a while back......you will recall the blog if you look up the following......7/22/04....2/2/04.....9/10/03.......6/1/03.......i am amused by the notion of being cryptic.....in semi-rural ky......rather than urban and chic nyc......
