pink......

ok, so i cannot sleep......caffeine/hormones/disquiet.......all of the above.....i have been catching up on blogs of note......those who still allow me access to their blogs.....i might add........access is a moth-to-flame subject to me these days.......as i suppress my disapointment that my sibling has made no attempt to apologize to me for his right-wing nastiness ........he had access, i suppose......despite the fact that i only turned on my cell phone whilst we were in manhattan....in case my spouse needed assistance..he and the youngest child went to the staue of liberty instead of the museum.....my trip to manhattan was curiously worrisome.......curiously....this was my 4th time to the city...why should i worry....and yet i was so nervous about my safety...the safety of my family......and these are fears never raised in paris.........a city that i have visited over 10 times without such apprehension.........comparing apples to oranges really......paris is so open and inviting....while nyc is so cavernous and confined......as long as one keeps money out of one's purse and somewhere hidden......we got off the subway across the street from moma...so far so good.....and the museum was crowded...but not suffocatingly so....and we toured it separately rather than together, as is our custom.....really born-to-travel people do best when left alone...........but 4-5 hours of art is enough..even with heavenly breaks for food........so we ventured out......and then the crowds took over....so many people.....elbows everywhere...in st patricks where we ducked in to escape the crowds.....ha....there were 2 separate memorials set up for the pope..the pious were still in line...........and then to rockefeller center.....still more people.....and the walk to times square.......but i digress.....from the reading of my favorite blogs.......including the pink blog.......must read some entries again......i am a basically inattentive person.....must be the left-handed thing....cannot grasp anything cleanly the first time......
