ok, so the pig-kissing photo in the paper really set me off yesterday......because it came about the same time that the email from the advocate arrived...telling me that if i wanted gov cup results in the paper i would have to write up the event myself and they would print it on the scrapbook page, in a few weeks as they are several weeks behind..presumably with pseudo-beauty pageants and the like......i fired off a letter to the editor first thing this morning......and while this letter was brilliant in every sense, it will not be printed.....the advocate editor has already apologized for the lack of coverage at the premier ky academic competition....and will print a news piece about it friday.......

a small group of reno's staff had a late lunch with us today....they are much in the same boat as us...they have not hired extra help as they do not know how long and to what extent the increased business will last....they are also working both lunch and supper....and they are also exhausted........they really made our day.....we hope they come back......
