the bathroom.....

ok, so i spent the entire afternoon/early evening in the upstairs bathroom......wallpapering.....omg.....the chore is tedious as to defy description, expecially for someone like me who lacks the urge to be precise.....my house was empty for the most of the ordeal, which is problematic when a long strip of damp paper is coming down on one end whilst one is trying to afix the other end......another set of hands would have helped a bit.....but as it is......the end product is good enough to last until it falls off on its own, or i come to loathe the pattern......whichever comes first.....the best part of the process was listening to the npr sunday afternooon lineup.....prairie home companion, this american life, le show, girls night out......i rarely listen to radio when i am not driving, so in the regard this was a treat......for the record...the paper is green mini-check so as to match the towels, with a border of primroses in chinese export porcelain pots on a burgundy backround...so as to match all of the towels that aren't green........it will do.......
