father of 11 receives truckload of gifts....

ok, so i had to go to great lengths to view this cnn video about an iraq vet in georgia who reeived an early christmas present for his 11 children via walmart.....firefox is a difficult system when it comes to plug-ins...i had to resort to ms explorer.....but enough of that tale of woe.....this story had all the elements of tear-jerk until i heard the part about the reason the guy is alone with 11 children......his wife left him.....gentle readers......somebody must take up for the woman who would leave 11 children, and attempt to see the other side of this tragic scenario.......why did she have 11 children in the first place.....did she feel pressured by this army-spouse, by her church, by her family......was she kept stealthily away from birth control methods by her faith or by her lack of insurance coverage for such products......and was nobody there to support her emotionally with those 11 rowdy souls i saw on the video......i can recall sobbing in the doorway of my home when my parents drove north and my spouse went on to work after my second child was born......i had mastitis, my newborn had jaundice and didn't nurse well....and my eldest was rambunctuous........and hormonally i was unprepared for any and all of the above......if i could have walked away i might of.....at that singlular moment in time........but we settled in the made the best of it...as most women will do....but not all women can rise to that occassion...for whatever reason......and this woman may deserve our collective amnesty.......considering the parenting role models out there these days....such as the pantyless britney spears out for night-after-night of cavorting while her 2 undertwo children stay at home (hopefully) with a nanny.........if a half-decent looking poolboy made advances on this mother of eleven....i could not blame her for being so gratefully flattered as to stray.......so let us not judge this woman too harshly until we know all of the particulars......after all.....we know up front that anybody who would birth 11 children must be insane .......
