ok, so...over the weekend i was able to weed this entire wheelbarrow full of wild onions....yeah, well...there are also a few redbud sticks and phlox stalks, but mostly this is organic mass gleened from my personal ecosystem....next up is the initial rose pruning....which must be done with great patience, as dead for roses is not the same for dead in other species....sometimes the deadest looking branch can burst forth.....i must add that this work with duct-tape repaired gardening shoes.....my trusty red rubber shoes have split, and it took several rounds of tape, held firm by a few rubber bands to be able to wear these faithful soles a few last times.....
