progress....

ok, so i went on outside around 10 to begin my spring chores.....and was able to accomplish the following before the rain started in earnest.....1) locate first my new gardening gloves, then an old pair when it dawned on me that i didn't want to use the new gloves to 2) dredge out the muck from the pond 3)locate the hole in the pond liner 4) locate the new wheelbarrow (hidden in miss lulu's cabin rather than in the garage where i first looked 5) cleaned out the beds to the right of the cabin door.....this alone is precedent-setting....as i traditionally drag the wheelbarrow from beside the garage....and start in counter-clockwise from the garage around the beds til i get back to where i began.....starting somewhere else is too small to be called freeing, but it was a pleasant change nevertheless.....alas, i was not able to locate a patching kit.....one would think that such things are on hand, as pondliners are made of roughly the same material as bike tubes......if my spouse doesn't have the necessary patch and glue i will stop at lowe's on my way to pick up my daughter at the animal shelter.....maybe the rain will stop and i can at least put the weed-and-feed on the wet lawn......
