serenade.....

ok, so we finished the truck-load of mulch after church.....a threesome of mostly willing kin....willing mostly because a baltimore oriole entertained us with his sweet call.....hopefully he'll find female companionship soon..... i went on to start shaping up bushes with the electric hedge trimmer.....when one drags out the electric cord(s)...the intention must be to trim every bit of shrubbery.....i have finished the front yard....and have started in on the shrubs that creep up the back of the garage......i will move on to the boxwoods that line my brick walk beneath the deck.....front and back......all of my shrubs have become overgrown.......and then...if i have an ounce of strength left......i will lay a few bricks by the pond....we had several left over from reworking the paths last summer.....i do need to rework the path that extends from the front of the garage on around to the deck....especially the place where the brick chimney fell down (i shouldn't say fell as in accident....a workman helped it to fall over.....and that is where it landed.....ooops.......with each and every task i see more and more things that i could also do before bookclub......the least of which is planting flowers.....reckon i can repaint the porch floor and the white trim before the middle of may?....and touch up the lawn furniture?.....enough of this rest and water break...must get to work....
