alone for a few days

ok, so the rest of my emptying nest just rode out on a three day bike journey......their route will take them no further than 50 or so miles from home.....since this is a maiden voyage for the youngest......and so i have many options on how to spend my time....well....other than going to work.....no reason to take valuable vacation time to sit at home alone......i have the option of going out for indian food in lexington with our friends....an outing planned before the fall break bike excursion came about......but i have just found that not all of the wives are going, and that leaves some of the more outspoken spouses (think centre econ)...and i am rethinking my going at all.....i have promised my mother my time for part of the afternoon...she is having company and i know that she has not tidied up to 'company' expectations.....and then i have these books i bought about paris.....and a pond to sit by while i read.....and then a nap might be nice.....i'll keep y'all posted.....
