the end of the playoffs....

ok, so we only stayed up til 10 watching cleveland lose to the boston redsox....and now that the sox are going to the world series, i am somewhat ambivalent about watching the colorado rockies/sox matchup.....other than the fact that i am making tremendous headway on an afghan that has been lying fallow for at least a year.....knitting is a television watching activity, and i do not watch television on most days....any reader knows that television interrupts one's concentration and that the best reading is done with the television off...not even turned down low......i have yet to email my cleveland kin with my condolences.....though i doubt they were surprised at their loss...when i saw them during the summer, on our way tot he wedding in new york...they seemed to think that this year's team was a bunch of bums.....the only light at the end of the tunnel that i can see for northern ohio is that these folks tend to also be ohio state fans.....
