'erase my emails...'

ok, so...one of the more poignant moments on my npr-driven ride to my thursday county had to do with the internet......as a preface to a story on the medical uses and abuses of the w.w.w.....the commentator used her grandmother as an example of how folks of all ages have embraced the web for a multitude of amusements and scholarly uses.....and the commentator's grandmother was such an avid internet user that on her deathbed...at age 95+....she motioned for a daughter to draw close....and with her dying breathe said......'erase my emails'.....'...gentle readers...i have already erased any incriminating emails....but i would appreciate that those blood kin who aspire to writing careers would at least download the bulk of my prose into a....what....4 gig portable hard drive?......realistically, if i live to be 95 it may take 10+ gigs...but i digress......i would hope that this body of work is not deleted by some web manager in the sky who sees it lie dormant.....and how would one sign off for a blog...ok, so....and a link to the obit.....i suppose that i will have to trust whichever of my offspring signs me off permanently.......
