cold.......

ok, so.....yesterday the heating and air people did longawaited work on both the upstairs furnace/airconditioner as well as the basement unit.....as well as insulated pipes and caulked leaks in our closet where cold breezes are palpable on especially frigid evenings.....we had a new warm air vent put right over our bed......so.....in the middle of the night...when i woke up cold ...why had i not the sense to get up and turn on the heat so as to utilize all of that expensive service upgrades?......heck...i am still cold and loathe to turn on some heat......i suppose it is memories of outrageous k.u. bills from last winter.....tonight i will get out an extra blanket, just in case.....i hesitate to get out the down comforter just yet.......crazy how we can go from so very hot to so very cold...and miss comfortable sleeping weather.....completely......
