a good story....

ok, so.....i was at our doctor's office yesterday afternoon, and as we were checking out i had an opportunity to chat with our semi-neighbor.....her family owns the party-central lake house 2 doors down....we were just enough older than this woman and her siblings that we recall them partying on summer nights....and now her eldest son has taken up partial residence there....so far no disrupting noise.......and so mentioned to her that we had not heard a peep out of her boy despite seeing several cars on both weeknights and weekdays.....and though she was glad to hear that, she assured me that our neighbor across the street would certainly have called if there was anything raucous going on....and she told of an evening in the not-too-distant past whereupon the neighbor called her at 2:00 am, and told her she and her husband better get on out here as there were cars everywhere and he didn't want trouble out our way......she had to wake up the rest of the household, as she was watching her sister's children...her sister being at a class reunion.....and so the posse arrived to the circle...only to see cars that were clearly not her son's crowd.....BMW's,Mercedes, high-end SUV's......seems her sister's reunion had moved out to the lake house for old times sake,......and it was a mid-life crowd rather than kids carrying on.....just too funny.......
