my child is horrified that i _______.

ok, so.....i was amused at a hallway conversation this morning...during which my female comrades were bemoaning the many reasons they have recently given their children to roll their eyes.....one mother admitted to following her son to walmart to picture him meeting with his dad (who is not married to my coworker) in his prom outfit over the weekend....another was enumerating the throng of family she was busing up to lexington to see her daughter graduate from UK on sunday.....and how she was unsure if she could keep them all quiet during the ceremony....this is a first-generation graduate crowd.....and everybody is coming......and yet another mentioned how she had approached a car in the back lot as she was leaving work on friday to ask if they had come looking for condoms...it was horrifying in that they were friends of her son- a high school junior.......the things that i do that horrify my own children did not make this list...and i kept them all to myself.......
