rain

ok, so....s mighty storm blew through sometime in the night.....i resisted the temptation to look at the clock to check the time.....if it were nearly time to get up i would have a hard time going back to sleep.....the plants i moved need this rain need this rain....yeah, i did spend significant time laying down the seep hoses....only to find that water in seep hoses either doesn't run uphill very efficiently, or i have kinks that keep water from making it to the end of the line.....trying to convince my spouse that we need a spigot that comes out of the ground just below where the water line comes in from the road......hooking seep hoses up to a spigot at the top of our property will allow the water to seep downhill.....brilliant idea, i say......for days when there is no rain.....
