up early....

ok, so....i have to drive myself and a few coworkers to l-ville this morning for a meeting that starts at 9......our alarm clock starts playing the news at 6:30 am.....not enough time for me to get out of the door by 7.....so we set the manually-wound alarm clock for a 6:00 am wakeup call.....i am unused to the sound of a ticking clock, and so i woke up at odd times during the night to make sure that i had not overslept through clock error.....and when one suffers through fitful sleep....one fails to awaken refreshed......well.....from poor sleep and from manual labor....i tilled and sifted out weeds from my vegetable planting bed.....about 20 foot of planting space......and so my back and my wrists are in pain......i ought to be in great humor for this drive to l-ville....tired and achy on a monday morning...what a combo....
