bookclub.....

ok, so bookclub has come around again...and while i didn't especially like the book....a mystery set in miami...the hero writes obits......attending is better than the alternative.......going to an away swim meet....my daughter will be well cared for....the neightbor girl and her mother will be taking her.....and she will be far enough away that i couldn't really see much before i arrived...and they would be ready to come home......that is my story and i am sticking to it.....i have hardly read anything this summer...like i actually have a summer......but i have no book at this moment.....i have an afghan to work on...and so reading anything other than the directions will have to wait.....i am nearly done with panel #1......i thing i shall need at least 4 maybe 6 more to have this thing be wide enough.......so.....if i can make 1 panel a week i shall be right on schedule.......of course....i could get a lot done if i skipped bookclub.......but again...ski[[ing book club means going to a swim meet.......the choices that must be made by adults......not for the squeemish............
