old home week.....

ok, so i neglected to mention the esoterics of the yardsale.....the human connections made.........we learned.....and recorded...the name of our next door sometimes neighbor........he is who is elusive......we met the ex-wife of a sometimes neighbor we have also yet-to-meet.....they have been divorced 20 years.....and remarried and divorced at least once each....and now she has taken back his name rather than her own maiden name.....and she is staying with him for the weekend....her and her cat.......got it?......and we met the fellow who sometimes lives on he other side of the guy with the ex-wife........i say sometimes.....because on the lake there are the people who live here yearround.....and the people who only come on weekends, or when it suits......and this is where the mystery comes in......we cannot quite catch the names of folks we see so irregularly......as opposed to folks that we have lived by for 23 years.......there is a clear delineation between the two......sometimes people and yearround people.....the ex-wife- asked what we thought about her putting a flyer in each mailbox.....offering to buy out the dweller.....she and her cat want to move here permanently.....why not......couldn't be any more strange than others who have come and gone over these many years........or stranger than those of us who have lived here for so long.......
