it's greek to me.....

ok, so now that the yardsale scenario is done....i have moved on to my sunday school lesson for tomorrow.....my turn to teach.....and the funniest thing has become clear........the subject is wisdom....god's wisdom versus man's wisdom......versus the foolishness of faith as it may appear to those who consider themslves wise........the greek word for foolishness is moria.......like the mines of moria.......where frodo made the directional decision as opposed to the general wisdom of the gap of rohan.......his choice meant that gandolf fell......but was resurrected as a white wizard......and this foolish choice made all the difference in the end..........gentle readers......be aware that tolkien was a scholar through and through....and this little greek slip of the typewriter was deliberate rather than accidental........and so the question now is....should i bother to bring this up in my lesson......given that i am not speaking to a lotr crowd.........or just keep this nuance to myself..........
