patriot act.....

ok, so republicans have banded with dems to block the portion of the patriot act that would have allowed the fbi to search library and bookstore records without a search warrant.......dubya is peaved about this, as he considers this essential in the fight against terror.......frankly, this does little, in that the internet is now the resource of choice for terror.........bookstores and library reocrds show only what one reads for pleasure, or buys for future pleasure......and buying habits for informational stuff is likely down.......i rarely buy nutrition references anymore......why spend the cash albeit tax deductible when i can find enough info online to meet my immediate query....same thing with cookbooks.....i am sheddign numerous cookbooks most haven't been opened in recent memory...because it is so easy to search online recipe books.......if i wanted to use a recipe in the first place.....and so what would the feds find if they had a warrant for my local library......that i check out series of murder mysteries.........does that make me a potential murderer?.......or a potential private investigator........you be the judge.......but not without a warrant....at least for now............
