showers........

ok, so it is debatable at this moment which shower of the day is most refreshing.......the one that wakes one up in the morning ......or the one that removes the grit,grime and sweat of an afternoon of physical labor........of course....the shower is only the appetizer course........physical work actually requires a hot bath to melt the muscles just before bed.........and that will be just wonderful.....except that one of us will have to get out of bed about 11:45 pm to pick up our middle child at the high school after the weekend tournament in chicago.......normally, he would have driven himself to town.....but that is not how things worked out on friday......and so.......but these are minor details........this weekend was a taste of not having him here this fall......and we are not prepared for this reality........not at all......so we may actually draw straws for the honor of driving to town to pick him up...........as long as i don't have to get out of the car.....i plan to show up in my jammies........
