there is more to tell......

ok, so there is more to tell.....and the telling is eerie and foreboding.......my spouse ran over our old dog while easing out of the driveway this morning.......ran right over him........and the poor old cuss seemed to have only suffered road rash and no broken bones.....or at least so said the vet....he is resting comfortably on iv fluids at the clinic.......no word on when he will come home......we are not ready to part with this old friend just yet.....and clearly his number was not up.......the parting with pets is an emotional endeavor.....we grow so attached to these creatures.....for better or for worse with neither the cermony nor the spoken promises to cherish them all the days of their lives......but under the best circumstances we do worship the ground they tred lightly upon.....and honor them until their dying day........
