brilliant.....

ok, so today i had a moment of decision....and i let it pass without qualms.......my client....a diabetic out of control of fussing about his children...especially the brilliant one....the one who dropped out of college...the one who lays upont he sofa all day...the one with the act score of 29.....gentle readers......this is the time when helpful professionals simply smile and affirm what has been said......i hear you telling me how frustrated you are to have a talented child throw his life away........rather than question the validity of brilliance............such a definition is in the eye of the beholder.......no more and no less........
