the sun shines bright on my old kentucky home...........

ok, so the rain and the cold weather has moved on, leaving my house bathed in sunshine.........i had a chance to sit on the deck and read for a bit......which was most pleasant, even though the chair pad was still a bit damp..........i was much too lazy to step inside the house and exchange it for a dry one..........quite the perfect way to top off an afternoon of no accomplishments whatsoever.....just indulgences..........i did take a few turns around the garden beds.......contemplating just where the tanks may sit and pipes may run when the septic system contractor tears up my yard......and imagining where beds could be refigured, and plants moved...............frankly, i like it all just the way it is.......i will be like scarlett ohara....and worry about that tomorrow.............but back to my little bit of sunshine, and my book, and the lake below........and a glimpse of a blue bird on the feeder.......not a real bluebird......an indigo bunting.....they like the cedar trees around here........i guess indigo buntings must be as lucky as bluebirds.....................
