another sunny day......

ok, so if this is saturday, it means another cross country meet.....this one at woodford's hilly course...near versailles (pronounced ver-sales and not to be confused with versailles, pronounced ver-sigh....)...my spouse has found someone to cover the shop so we can both go up to watch......and later to swing by lexington to take our eldest out for an early supper......the day is quite sunny, though the chill in the air might not burn off by race time.....the c.c. season is winding down, though the numbers of female runners ahave swelled due to the end of soccer season....and so i have a 2 hour window of idleness remaining on this saturday morning......what to do, what to do......i should get right on the treadmill and walk ...but i could just as easily curl up in the front room with an afghan and lorrie moore......the sun is streaming in through the new window......looks quite inviting, actually......
