monday, monday

ok, so.....monday.....yep it was monday....all day......and i'll share just the highlights......like dropping my lunch onto the pavement on the way in....some things grapes and baby carrots can be washed and are still edible.....butcottage cheese cannot.....and then when i walked at lunch the best songs i downloaded and transferred gave only track numbers rather than artist and song title......and so i had to wait until i got home to find out that i like words by evan duby.....i haven't looked up the other one because it didn't have a catchy refrain like 'words'........and then there was the squirrel that decided to go for it across faulkner station road...and missed the car in the uncoming lane, but couldn't manage to outrun my tires even though i braked and swerved.....or is that swurved?...or swirved?.......on the other hand...i did listen to the new decemberists on the way to work and back....and i must say that this piece evokes the best parts of groups like emerson, lake and palmer....and yes......with a dash of peter, paul and mary....and the unknown elizabethan troubador.....nice, very nice.....mayhaps the day would have gone better if i had just kept driving.......
