ok, so this from the wire brought a a hearty guffaw.......When it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, "Marie Antoinette" drew boos from French critics. Kirsten Dunst, who plays Antoinette in the movie, has a laid-back attitude about it.
"I didn't take it to heart," Dunst says in an interview in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. "How would we feel about the French doing a movie about George Washington with French actors?"........ok, so......didn't kirsten get the part of the script where marie comes from austria to marry the dauphin?.......it would have been just as foolish to have a french actress play marie as an american one....if nationality was the issue.......it could be that kirsten bombed in her portrayal....i hope to decide for myself when the film comes out oct 20........
