Woman wants to 'unadopt' troubled boy

ok, so.....this headline troubled me today.......and not because the notion has never crossed my mind....on sunday i had a similar conversation with another mother of a difficult adopted child....and at the (child's)age of 26 the mother was asking my thoughts on what one did with a child who had no learning curve.....and she did use the term unadopt....and i had no answer for her other than my promise of prayers......what does one do with a child....genetic or assumed.....that cannot do right.....?..this child turned up in the early morning hours after spending the night in her car.....having been expelled from her last location......but i digress from my original point.......once one takes on parenthood...it is not reversible.....not like marriage which can be annulled by sweep of the pope's mitre as if it never happened......parenthood is a promise to someone that expects a lifetime of felicity and devotion...despite the lack of an actual contract......and as long as i draw breath i will strive to make good on that tacit agreement........
