well, duh

..ok, so.....i had an incredibly embarassing moment this afternoon.....was that i will be forever grateful stayed between me and me...i had used my laptop to do my diabetes class......for a smallish group of 4 i just show the powerpoint on my 17 inch laptop screen rather than struggle with the finiacky projector.....and when the class was over...i unplugged the laptop, carried it still open back to my office, and then plugged the internet cord into the back......and then saw a couple of clients to help move along the rest of the clinic load....and then sat down to check out the world since my last log-in.....and then omg......i could barely see the screen it was so dim.....it was like i had developed cataracts on my way back to my office from escorting my last client to the checkout....or had a stroke....i just couldn't see the screen clearly......and i tried all sorts of buttons and settings to improve the brightness....to no avail.....and even considered calling a tech person......but then i noticed that the battery icon was at 81%....and then i noticed that i had neglected to plug the things back into my wall....and everything rbightened up just fine.......omg....for a fleeting moment i saw my youth fade and old-age settle in.....not a fun feeling........
