reading the obits.......

ok, so....i am painfully aware that it is in bad taste to find amusement in reading the obits......but the one in question this week had that extra bit of boldness that one had to laugh......the deceased wife(the second one only) was listed, as was his numerous children by name, numerous grandchildren (not named).....all very proper so far.....but tagged on the end of the list was......and a beloved niece susan____......what is that all about.....? was no one else beloved?....did susan write the obit and slip that in for punctuation?........did the deceased and susan have a special relationship?.......this is the sort of thing that could evolve into a short story, or at the very least some boistrous dinner conversation.......
