strumming......

ok, so....i freely fess up to having a fondness for strumming.......acoustic guitar played righteously is such a lovely backdrop to vocals........lets look at the last three songs i played....nelly furtado's crazy...with gnarls barkely whispering...space...space....in the backround......and nelly furtado's duet with chris martin.......and the chapin sister's cover of britney spear's toxic.......all quite strummable songs.........of course, my eldest knew this already....his last mix cd tribute....for my birthday back in february was entitled strumming.......i'd like to say i knew exactly what was on this cd, but my spouse took it off to work with him....and that is the last i have heard of it....until i drop by and borrow it back.......that is not to say that i do not respect cello, violins (aka fiddles), and the like....even mandolin....ooohh.....mandolin is so ledzep.......
