bastille day....

ok, so my friends cheryl g. and sarah v., both francophiles.....came to lunch today.....and brought a small bouquet of red carnations and white daisies tied with a blue bow......a nice bastille day gesture.......i have traveled to france 3 times with cheryl, a middle school french teacher.......she may retire after next year.....so she asked if there was any way we could try to escort one more group on spring break.....cayle would have had 9 weeks of french as a 6th grader......if we opened the trip up to 6,7,and 8th graders we should have enough to pay our ways......which is the point.......i need not add............this trip would tie cheryl with deedra and scw in terms of number of trips to europe in my company....the breakdown is as follows:

deedra- 4 trips to france
scw- 3 trips to france, 1 to spain
ecw- 2 trips to france, 1 to england
acw-3 trips to france
cheryl- 3 trips to france
rachel-2 trips to france, 1 to spain
petra- 2 trips to france

i must clarify....that some of these trips to france also involved trips to other european locales......, but you get my drift.....i believe that i could handle just one more trip with 20 students aged 12-14.....especially if i know that i may also be going on this alps hike in august......two trips to europe in 1 calender year exceeds all past records.....and will bring ecw into a 4-way tie for 4 times traveling with me.......not bad for one lifetime...............
