ok, so today we travel to camp nelson, near the kentucky river south of nicholasville......to the military cemetary.......my dad's ashes will find their final rest amongst other veterans........of many wars.......i believe camp nelson itself was used during the civil war and wwI, so the graveyard would have a similar history.......at the very least i am relieved that his remains will no longer be in my mother's upstairs closet...........mother, cayle and i are meeting the minister there, and we will travel on to lexington to shop afterwards.......gentle readers....the shopping part was my mother's idea...not mine........i suppose she needed something enjoyable to look forward to as a followup...........
